VEHICLE INTERIOR FRONTAL STRUCTURE COMPRISING A HIGH HEAD DISPLAY DEVICE ASSEMBLED TO A DOME OF
.. COUNTERS [0001] The present invention relates to a front structure of a vehicle interior.
In recent years, head-up displays (commonly called HUDs) installed in vehicle dashboards have become widespread. HUDs are devices that display various types of information within the driver's field of vision. Device types such as those that display information on a dedicated display and those that display information on the windshield have been developed. For example, patent document 1 discloses a HUD device 5 which is attached to a dashboard. The HUD apparatus 5 of patent document 1 employs a configuration in which a display 5a on which images are displayed is vertical with respect to an apparatus body 5b attached to a dashboard body 3.
Patent document 1: open publication of Japanese patent N ° 2014-46 804.
In the dashboard disclosed in patent document 1, the HUD 5 device and an M counter provided in a counter dome 7 are aligned in the front rear direction of the vehicle. However, in a center meter type dashboard, including meters in the center of the dashboard across the width of the vehicle, there are cases in which the counters and a HUD device are aligned in the direction of the width of the vehicle. Here, to improve the interior aesthetics of modern vehicle vehicles, it is required to reduce what are called dividing lines, which are border lines between parts of the dashboard region. Extensive studies are needed to align the meters and a HUD device across the width of the vehicle and attach them to the dashboard while reducing the dividing lines.
In view of these problems, an object of the present invention consists in proposing a front structure of the vehicle interior making it possible to improve the interior aesthetics of the vehicle by reducing the dividing lines in a dashboard of a vehicle.
To solve the above problems, a vehicle interior front structure according to the present invention having a typical configuration is a vehicle interior front structure comprising: a dashboard provided in a front portion of an interior of vehicle; a meter assembly in which a display screen with predetermined meters faces toward the rear of the vehicle, and is attached to an upper portion of the dashboard; a head-up display unit attached to the upper portion of the dashboard, and aligned with the meter assembly across the width of the vehicle; and a meter dome that is attached to the dashboard, covering the meter assembly and the head-up display unit from above. The meter dome includes a dome portion which covers the meter assembly; an extension portion which extends across the width of the vehicle continuously from the dome portion and which covers the head-up display unit; and an opening which is open in the extension portion and which exposes a portion of the head-up display unit.
With the present embodiment, there is provided a frontal structure of the vehicle interior capable of improving the interior aesthetics of the vehicle by reducing the dividing lines in the dashboard of the vehicle.
The present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings in which:
Figure 1 is a diagram showing a front interior structure of the vehicle of the present invention;
Figure 2 is a perspective view illustrating a meter dome and a HUD unit shown in Figure 1 (a);
Figure 3 is a perspective view of the meter dome shown in Figure 2, viewed from the front and slightly downward of the vehicle;
Figure 4 is a perspective view of a coupling member and the HUD unit shown in Figure 2;
Figure 5 shows the coupling member of Figure 4 (a) and the HUD unit shown in Figure 4 (b) in a coupled state;
Figure 6 is a cross-sectional view of the coupling member and the like along line A-A in Figure 5 (a).
A vehicle interior front structure according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a dashboard provided in a front portion of a vehicle interior; a meter assembly in which a display screen with predetermined meters faces toward the rear of the vehicle, and is attached to an upper portion of the dashboard; a head-up display unit attached to the upper portion of the dashboard, and aligned with the meter assembly across the width of the vehicle; and a meter dome that is attached to the dashboard, covering the meter assembly and the head-up display unit from above. The meter dome includes a dome portion which covers the meter assembly; an extension portion which extends across the width of the vehicle continuously from the dome portion and which covers the head-up display unit; and an opening which is open in the extension portion and which exposes a portion of the head-up display unit.
With the above configuration, the meter assembly and the head-up display unit can be covered with a meter dome as a single unit. With this configuration, the dividing lines (boundary lines between parts) exposed to the outside can be reduced in the upper portion of the dashboard, and the interior aesthetics of the vehicle can be improved.
It is preferable that the front structure of the vehicle interior also comprises a coupling member provided on a bottom of the extension portion and along an edge of the opening. The coupling member couples the extension portion and the head-up display unit. The coupling member has a plurality of claws which hook onto the head-up display unit.
With the aforementioned coupling member, the meter dome and the head-up display unit can be attached more stably. Specifically, the coupling member is provided on the underside of the extension portion and is not exposed to the outside. Therefore, the meter dome and the head-up display unit can be attached to each other with great rigidity using the coupling member, without adversely affecting the interior aesthetics of the vehicle.
The aforementioned claws can extend downwards in the vehicle and have hooks on their front end side. The head-up display unit may include: guide holes in which the claws are inserted from above; and connecting portions provided in the guide holes and to which the hooks of the claws are connected. With this configuration, the meter dome can be more easily attached to the head-up display unit.
The coupling member may comprise a plurality of ribs which extend downwards in the vehicle and which come laterally into contact with the head-up display unit. By using the plurality of ribs to support the head-up display unit so that it does not move across the width of the vehicle and forward and backward of the vehicle, the Head-up display orientation can be further stabilized.
Preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings. The dimensions, materials and other specific numerical values described in these embodiments are purely exemplary to facilitate understanding of the present invention, and they are not intended to limit the invention, unless otherwise indicated. It should be noted that elements having substantially identical functions and configurations bear identical reference numbers in this specification and in the accompanying drawings, and their redundant description is therefore omitted. Likewise, illustrations of elements which are not directly relevant in the context of the present invention are omitted.
Figure 1 is a diagram showing a front interior structure of vehicle 100 of the present invention. Figure fia) is a perspective view of the vehicle interior front structure 100 viewed from the right side across the width of the vehicle and from the rear side of the vehicle. In all the appended drawings, the arrows F (front) and B (rear) define the front-rear direction of the vehicle, the arrows L (left) and R (right) define the direction of the width of the vehicle, and the arrows U ( top) and D (bottom) define the up and down direction of the vehicle.
The vehicle interior front structure 100 is at the center of a dashboard 102. The dashboard 102 is a large resin body which is provided in a front portion of a vehicle interior. Various types of devices and devices, such as a meter assembly 104 and a head-up display unit ("HUD unit" 106), are attached to it. The dashboard 102 is of the counter type in the center. The 104 meter assembly is installed in the center of the latter across the width of the vehicle. In this embodiment, the aesthetic is improved by covering the meter assembly 104 and the HUD unit 106 attached to the dashboard 102 with a meter dome 108.
Figure fib) is a diagram of the dashboard 102 shown in Figure fia) with the dome of meters 108 removed therefrom, in top view. The meter assembly 104 includes a display screen 110 in which predetermined meters, such as a speedometer and a tachometer, are provided. The meter assembly 104 is attached to the upper portion of the instrument panel 102 in the center across the width of the vehicle. The 110 display screen faces the rear of the vehicle.
substantially the same shape as the opening 124 of the extension portion 122. It exposes the display 112 of the HUD unit 106 outside. The coupling member 126 is securely fixed below the extension portion 122 by a weld.
Figure 3 is a perspective view of the meter dome 108 shown in Figure 2, viewed from the front and slightly downward of the vehicle. The coupling member 126 is provided with a plurality of claws 130 on the underside thereof. Claws 130 extend down into the vehicle. They are provided with hooks 142 on the front end side thereof (see Figure 6, etc.). The claws 130 are inserted into holes, like guide holes 138 (cf. FIG. 4 (b)), of the HUD unit 106 from above and they hang on the HUD unit 106.
The meter dome 108 is also provided with claws 132 at positions on the dome unit 118, the extension portion 122 and the frame-shaped portion, which are inserted in the dashboard 102. The meter dome 108 can be easily attached to the dashboard 102 using the claws 132.
Figure 4 is a perspective view of the coupling member 126 and the HUD unit 106 shown in Figure 2, viewed in various directions. Figure 4 (a) is a perspective view of the coupling member 126 of Figure 2, viewed from the bottom and right of the vehicle. As shown in FIG. 4 (a), a plurality of claws comprising the claws 130 are provided around the central hole 128. Among the claws, the claws 134 and similar elements each have a rib 136 on their base side by example, which increases rigidity.
Figure 4 (b) is a perspective view of the HUD 106 unit shown in Figure 2, viewed from the left side above the vehicle. As shown in FIG. 4 (b), the HUD unit 106 is provided with a plurality of guide holes represented by the guide holes 138, around the central display 112. The guide holes 138 are portions through which the claws 130 of the coupling member 126 are inserted. A connection portion 140 is provided in each of the guide holes 138. The portions A dome portion 118 of the meter dome 108 is a portion which covers the assembly of counters 104 (cf. FIG. 1 (a)) . The dome portion 118 is slightly protruding upward in the vehicle. The dome portion 118 is located on the driver's side relative to the display screen 110 of the meter assembly 104, that is, it projects rearward into the vehicle. It serves as a visor which prevents light, such as sunlight, from reaching the display screen 110. In addition, the dome portion 118 blocks the area around the display screen 110 of so that light from indicator lights on various counters does not appear on the windows or the like.
A frame edge portion 120 is a portion provided below the dome portion 118. It frames the display screen 110 of the meter assembly 104. The frame edge portion 120 has a elliptical shape whose major axis is the direction of the width of the vehicle. It surrounds the display screen 110 of the meter assembly 104. Due to the attachment of the display screen 110 of the dashboard 104 to the inside of the frame edge portion 120, the frame edge portion 120 extends from the periphery of the display screen 110 towards the driver and gives a sense of depth when the driver looks at the display screen 110. In addition, the edge portion of frame 120, with the dome portion 118, blocks the area around the display screen 110 of the meter assembly 104 relative to the environment, which is useful for improving the visibility of the meters.
An extension portion 122 extends laterally across the width of the vehicle continuously from the dome portion 118. It covers the HUD unit 106. An opening 124 is open in the upward direction in the portion extension 122 and it exposes the display 112, which is part of the HUD unit 106.
A coupling member 126 is provided on the underside of the extension portion 122. The coupling member 126 is a frame-shaped part which follows the edge of the opening 124 and which couples the portion 122 and the HUD unit 106. A central hole 128 in the center of the coupling member 126 has substantially the same shape as the opening 124 of the extension portion 122. H exposes the display 112 of the HUD 106 unit outside.
The storyteller dome 108 is also provided with claws 132 at positions on the dome unit 118, the extension portion 122 and the frame-shaped portion, which are inserted into the dashboard 102.
The connection portions 140 are portions on which the hooks 142 of the claws 130 are hooked. They have, for example, elongated split forms. In addition to the guide holes 138, protrusions 148 and the like extend laterally from a side facing the HUD unit 106 and serve as portions on which hooks 146 of the prongs 144 can be hooked.
Figure 5 shows a state in which the coupling member 126 of Figure 4 (a) and the HUD unit 106 of Figure 4 (b) are coupled. Figure 5 (a) is a diagram of the coupling member 126 and the like seen from the right side of the vehicle. The claws comprising the claws 130 are inserted in portions like the guide holes 138 (cf. FIG. 4 (b)) of the HUD unit 106 or on the projections 148 from above. The hooks of the claws comprising the hooks 146 include the hooks facing the center of the HUD unit 106 and the hooks facing outward. All these hooks hang on the connection portions 140 of the guide holes 138, on the projections 148 and on similar elements.
Figure 5 (b) is a diagram of the coupling member 126 and similar elements shown in Figure 5 (a), viewed from the left side in the width direction of the vehicle. The claws comprising the claws 130 hook onto the HUD unit 106 in directions comprising from the rear side of the vehicle, from the lateral sides of the vehicle and from the front side of the vehicle from the HUD unit 106. With this configuration, the coupling member 126 can couple the meter dome 108 (cf. FIG. 2) and the HUD unit 106 in a stable orientation. The claws are arranged near an edge, even those on the coupling member 126. They also help to form precisely dividing lines (boundary lines) between the coupling member 126 and the unit. HUD 106.
Figure 6 is a cross-sectional diagram along line AA of the coupling member 126 and similar elements of Figure 5 (a). The meter dome 108 is also shown in Figure 6. As shown in Figure 6, the meter dome 108 including the coupling member 126 is placed on the HUD unit 106 from above. H is attached by inserting all the claws comprising the claws 130 of the coupling member 126 into the guide holes 138 of the HUD unit 106. At this stage, a slope 150 is provided inside each of the holes guide 138, and the claws 130 can be guided by the slopes 150 and hook on the connecting portions 140 simply by being inserted in the guide holes 138. These configurations facilitate the attachment of the dome of meters 108 to the HUD 106 unit.
With the coupling member 126 described above, the meter dome 108 and the HUD unit 106 can be attached more stably. Specifically, the coupling member 126 is provided on the underside of the extension portion 122 and it does not expose the dashboard 102 (cf. FIG. 1 (a)) outside. Thus, by using the coupling member 126, the rigidity of the attachment between the meter dome 108 and the HUD unit 106 can be improved, without affecting the interior aesthetics of the vehicle.
Referring to Figure 5 (a), a plurality of ribs comprising the ribs 152, 154 and 156 are provided on the coupling member 126. Each rib extends down into the vehicle and comes laterally in contact with the HUD unit 106. For example, the ribs 152 come into contact with a staircase portion 158 which is on the rear side of the HUD unit vehicle in Figure 4 (b), and they prevent any movement of the HUD unit. Since the ribs 152, 154 and 156 come into contact with the HUD unit 106 from the rear side of the vehicle, the front side of the vehicle and the side sides of the vehicle from the HUD unit 106, the HUD unit 106 is supported so as not to be able to move, and the orientation of the HUD 106 can be further stabilized. Similarly, with the ribs, the accuracy of the dividing lines formed between the HUD unit 106 and the meter dome 108 can be increased, which improves the interior aesthetics of the vehicle.
With the configuration of this embodiment described above, the meter assembly 104 and the HUD unit 106 can be favorably covered by the meter dome 108 as a single unit. With this configuration, in the upper portion of the dashboard 102 (cf. FIG. 1 (a)), the dividing lines exposed outside can be reduced, which improves the interior aesthetics of the vehicle. Likewise, using the coupling member 126 which has a plurality of claws including the claws 130 to completely couple the meter dome 108 and the HUD unit 106, the dividing lines between the meter dome 108 and the HUD 106 unit can be precisely formed, which improves the aesthetics.
In addition, in this embodiment, the realization of the meter dome 108 and the coupling member 126 as separate members also has an advantage. As shown in FIG. 6, a curved edge portion 160 and similar elements are provided in the dome of counters 108. There are thus cases in which the direction of removal of a mold during a molding resin is different from the top down direction of the vehicle In such a case, it is difficult to form the claws 130, the ribs 152, and the like (see FIG. 4 (a)), which extend down into the vehicle, integrated into the dome of counters 108. Thus, in the present embodiment, by making the coupling member 126 and the meter dome 108 as separate members, the claws 130, the ribs 152 and the like can be molded more easily, and a more complete coupling between the meter dome 108 and the HUD unit 106 can be obtained. The coupling member 126 does not appear in the external appearance of the meter dome 108, and the degree of freedom of the shape thereof is therefore high. For example, rigidity can therefore be increased appropriately by adding ribs, thickness plates and the like.
In the present embodiment, the front interior structure of the vehicle 100 has been explained as being of a type of meters in the center, in which the assembly of meters 104 is installed in the center thereof. the width of the vehicle. Nevertheless, the technical ideas relating to the front interior structure of vehicle 100 are not limited to a type of center meters, and they can be applied to configurations such as, for example, that in which the assembly of meters 104 is provided. to a position on one side across the width of the vehicle, and that in which the HUD 106 is provided closer to the center across the width of the vehicle.
Although a preferred embodiment of the present invention has been described above with reference to the accompanying drawings, it should be understood that the present invention is not limited to the embodiment described above. Those skilled in the art can appreciate that various modifications and variations can be made within the scope of the invention as defined in the appended claims. Such modifications and variations are intended to be included within the technical scope of the present invention.
The present invention can be used as a front structure of the vehicle interior.
